I love the simplicity of my studio! Thomas looked a lot like the actor Chris Pine and he was certainly very easy to photograph because he is both photogenic and friendly.
She was just over a week old!
Elke always has good ideas for the shoot, but the one she had today I could not replicate as it was a very specific background. But It thought this was in the spirit of what she was looking for!
I first photographed Andrew as a baby and here he is engaged to be married. Love this shot of Andrew and Layla shot just outside of Saskatoon.
I love when the sunlight hits my lens and I get a bit of flare. These twins were hard at play in this tree!
Could this be any cuter? The 4th newborn I have photographed for this family.
20 years ago I photograhped her oldest cousin in this dress. All these years later and she is the 9th granddaughter before my camera in her special dress with the gerbera daisies. This girly girl cannot walk or even crawl, but she knows how to show off her dress!
The perfect accessory - a doggie in a bow tie!
What a great shot - the current was a bit fast, but we were barely off the shoreline. This is one of many great shots we got that day.
He had a smoldering face, but he broke into smile really quickly! Such a great shoot.
In the midst of grad season I got to take this glamorous portrait of a beautiful woman. I love the simplicity of my studio.
I had so much fun with this shoot. Such a joyous soul. We had great light that day, everything turned out so well. I had a hard time narrowing down a sneak peak. I never get tired of the play of light on this fountain.
Stunning in blue
A simple setting lets the grad stand out.
I love dusty roads and hills in this province are often a bonus!
I love how romantic this backdrop is. She looks dreamy and it is all a bit mysterious.
We started by the river, then followed the light to the studio and lastly to the pond. Great shot with the mustang!
We waited for the storm to roll through. We stood under umbrella’s for 30 minutes! But it was worth the wait.
It was too wet for her to walk on grass today - her heels would have sunk right into the ground. We started in the studio - which was perfect as they preferred clean lines to anything fussy. Then we went downtown and did some urban landscapes. Her dress was stunning - the hem had wire in it, which gave it such a nice structure.
I love inclement days - the sky is always the best!
